Abstract

This article is motivated by the demand for one of the tourist attractions on Bawean Island, namely the Green Leaf Mangrove Tourism. Like a tourist attraction, it must have a strong attraction to attract domestic and international tourists, so there needs to be sustainable development so that this tourism is increasingly in demand by tourists. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The main informants in this study were the managers of the Green Leaf Mangrove Tourism and the village officials of Daun Village who are responsible for the Green Leaf Tourism. The results of the study indicate that the Green Leaf Tourism has a fairly strong attraction. Among them are the availability of complete infrastructure, such as homestays, the Green Leaf Mangrove Nursery Center, Boardwalks, Dhudhuk (Education Hut), Monitoring Tower, Pier and Tourist Boat, Education and Conservation Activity Programs, Shrimp and Crab Cultivation, Patekang Hut, and Livestock Park Tourism. The strategies implemented for the development of this green leaf tourism are environmental preservation and restoration, increasing environmental education and awareness, developing environmentally friendly infrastructure, increasing local community participation and empowerment, conducting sustainable promotion and marketing, conducting waste and waste management, monitoring and evaluation, and conducting collaboration and partnerships.
