Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of human capital in the development of educational management at MA Nurul Islam Tengaran and how human capital contributes to improving the quality of institutional governance. Human capital which includes the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies of teachers and educational staff, is seen as a strategic element in supporting the effectiveness of managerial and pedagogical functions, particularly in the implementation of Islamic-based education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design through data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, direct observation, and analysis of relevant documents. The results show that optimal human capital management contributes significantly to strengthening a collaborative school culture, improving teacher performance through continuous training programs, and increasing school community participation in the planning and decision-making processes. The conclusion of the study emphasizes that integrated and sustainable education management strategies are essential to maximize human capital potential, enabling MA Nurul Islam Tengaran to enhance its competitiveness, adapt to social changes, and maintain its identity as a high-quality and sustainable Islamic educational institution
