Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the concept of Ihsan as part of Islamic character education in the workplace, with a case study at PT Hwaseung Indonesia. The research focus includes the understanding of the concept of Ihsan in Islamic teachings, its relevance to the formation of Islamic character in the work environment, and its impact on work ethics, discipline, responsibility, and employee honesty. The approach used is qualitative with a case study method. Data was collected through observations, interviews with employees, and literature studies. The results of the study show that the implementation of Ihsan values contributes positively to forming a professional, harmonious, and performance-oriented work culture. Values such as seriousness, discipline, and honesty can strengthen work motivation and relationships between superiors and subordinates. However, there are challenges in its implementation, such as the lack of employee understanding of the concept of Ihsan and the influence of the work culture that has been formed beforehand. Therefore, continuous efforts are needed through training, socialization, and company policies that support the integration of Islamic values in the work culture. This research confirms that Ihsan has a strategic role in shaping Islamic character in the workplace and improving the quality of individual and organizational work.
