This study aims to examine the influence of active learning on students’ learning motivation and psychological growth at MINU 20 Sungaiteluk. Active learning emphasizes student engagement through participatory activities that stimulate curiosity, critical thinking skills, and social interaction. Data were collected using observations, questionnaires, and interviews to obtain a comprehensive understanding of students' responses toward active learning implementation. The findings indicate that active learning significantly enhances students’ learning motivation. Students become more enthusiastic, show greater initiative, and demonstrate increased persistence in understanding the learning material. In addition, active learning contributes positively to students' psychological development, reflected in improved self-confidence, communication abilities, and collaborative skills. These results highlight that active learning plays an essential role in supporting both academic achievement and psychological well-being. Based on the findings, the continued implementation and further development of active learning strategies are recommended to improve the overall quality of learning at MINU 20 Sungaiteluk and other educational institutions.
