This study tests the Fibonacci sequence as a pedagogical metaphor for the cumulative development of patience (sabr) and sincerity (ikhlas) in Sufi ethics. A sequential explanatory mixed-methods design involved 50 active Jamaah Tabligh members in Wonosobo, Indonesia. Quantitative data were collected through the Fibonacci-based Spiritual Development Scale (FSDS) and supplementary patience and sincerity measures; qualitative data came from interviews, participant observation, and limited digital ethnography. Eight Fibonacci terms were mapped onto tawbah, wara', zuhd, sabr, tawakkal, ridha, ikhlas, and ma'rifah. Mean scores declined from tawbah (M = 4.12) to ma'rifah (M = 2.23), indicating increasing difficulty at advanced stations. Wara' and zuhd explained 68% of the variance in sabr, while tawakkal and ridha explained 74% of the variance in ikhlas. Longer membership was associated with higher FSDS scores. Qualitative findings confirmed cumulative formation, accelerated transformation among experienced practitioners, and holistic interdependence among stations. The model is not proposed as a literal law of spirituality, but as a structured visual framework for Islamic ethics education, reflective practice, and digitally supported learning.
