Manajemen Kurikulum Pembelajaran Islam di Pesantren Menghadapi Era Modern

This article discusses the management of Islamic learning curriculum in Islamic boarding schools in facing the challenges of the modern era. Islamic boarding schools as traditional educational institutions have an important role in shaping the character and personality of students. However, the development of the era marked by technological advances and social change requires adaptation in the curriculum system. In this study, the author analyzes various elements of curriculum management, including planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. It was found that the integration of Islamic values and modern content, such as information technology and foreign languages, is the key to increasing the relevance of education in Islamic boarding schools. In addition, collaboration between Islamic boarding schools and formal educational institutions is expected to strengthen the existing curriculum. Through a participatory and inclusive approach, curriculum management in Islamic boarding schools can produce students who not only master religious knowledge, but are also ready to compete in the global world. This article is expected to contribute to the development of Islamic education and more adaptive and innovative curriculum management practices.
