Manajemen dan Budaya Organisasi Pendidikan Islam di Era Transformasi Digital

This article aims to analyze digital transformation in the management and leadership of Islamic education by highlighting strategies, challenges, and opportunities in the era of Society 5.0. The background of this study stems from the urgency of a paradigm shift in educational management that requires the integration of digital technology with Islamic spiritual and ethical values. In this context, Islamic educational leadership is confronted with the demand to develop managerial systems that are adaptive, collaborative, and innovation-oriented without losing moral character and transcendental values. This study employs a systematic literature review approach by examining international and national scholarly publications published between 2020 and 2025 through processes of selection, thematic analysis, and conceptual synthesis. The results indicate that digital transformation has a significant impact on the effectiveness of managing Islamic educational institutions, particularly in aspects of data-driven governance, digital learning, and spiritual–transformational leadership models. The main challenges are identified in human resource readiness, technological infrastructure, and organizational cultural resistance to digital change. Meanwhile, the greatest opportunities lie in the utilization of artificial intelligence and data analytics to support humanistic, value-based decision-making grounded in Islamic values. This article contributes theoretically by enriching the literature on the synergy between spiritual leadership and digital innovation in Islamic education and provides practical implications for the development of policies and digitalization strategies for Islamic value-based educational institutions in the era of Society 5.0.
