Transformasi Pendidikan Madrasah melalui PPDB Digital

This study aims to examine the implementation of online New Student Admissions (PPDB) at MTs Negeri 3 Gorontalo Regency, while identifying obstacles, resolving strategies, and the institution's response to the development of educational digitalization. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research findings indicate that the implementation of online PPDB is part of an effort to modernize educational administration and implement national policies. However, this process still faces obstacles, particularly related to low parental digital literacy, limited device availability, and unequal internet access. The school overcomes these challenges through direct assistance from PPDB operators and committees, so that all prospective participants can still register online even though they require face-to-face guidance. In addition, the madrasah also developed a digital application for learning assessment as a form of innovation. These findings confirm that the success of online PPDB is influenced by human resource readiness, effective socialization, and community support, not solely dependent on technology. This study emphasizes the importance of equitable distribution of digital facilities, improving school quality, and good coordination in supporting the implementation of zoning policies and digital transformation.
