Authors who publish with FAKTA: Journal of Islamic Education agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication of the work.

  2. Authors grant FAKTA: Journal of Islamic Education the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, and communicate the published work in any media or format for scholarly and educational purposes.

  3. The copyright of all articles published in this journal remains with the author(s).

  4. Authors are permitted to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal’s published version of the work (e.g., posting it to an institutional repository, personal website, or including it in a book), provided that acknowledgment is given to its initial publication in FAKTA: Journal of Islamic Education.

  5. Authors are encouraged to deposit and share their published articles through institutional repositories, academic networks, and other scholarly platforms to increase the visibility, accessibility, and impact of their research.

  6. The authors warrant that:

    • The submitted manuscript is an original work;

    • The manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere;

    • The manuscript does not infringe upon any copyright, intellectual property rights, or other rights of third parties;

    • All necessary permissions for copyrighted materials have been obtained.

  7. The editorial board is not responsible for any copyright infringement arising from materials provided by the authors. Any legal consequences resulting from copyright violations remain the responsibility of the author(s).

Licensing Policy

All articles published in FAKTA: Journal of Islamic Education are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Under this license, users are free to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;

  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.

Under the following terms:

  • Attribution — Appropriate credit must be given to the original author(s), a link to the license must be provided, and any changes made must be indicated.
